I heard Liz play on a Tuesday night in Richmond Virginia. A small club with her playing & singing – truly one of my favorite nights! We sat & talked on the breaks. I will always treasure that memorable evening.

Oooohhh my !! So happy to hear of your success! You played in our family room years ago in Marrietta Ohio! You sent us a little turtle we still have and in our house now in North Carolina! Our sons are grown and we are now grandparents! Such fond memories!! So happy of your success! Such a fun night that night!! You even sang Misty for my mother in law!! Take care!!

Will miss you by one day in Marietta later this month. Hope to see you in the months ahead. It has been too long since I’ve shoulder danced!

Hello from a long-lost fan. I used to catch your shows at the LayFlat hotel in Marietta, and I always requested Bluesy Atmosphere. So long ago you probably don’t remember. Anyway, I just listened to Blue Illusion and decided to Google and find out if you were still playing. Imagine my delight to find that you will be in Marietta next week! I am going to try to catch the show and say Hi. BTW I still have my autographed album (vinyl of course) of Bluesy Atomosphere.

Hi Liz and Dr. Blues! I first heard your music as a busboy at Porto Del Vino in Marietta, OH in 1985. You were taking requests and I asked you if you knew “People are Strange” by The Doors. You did not. But the next week you were back and you played it beautifully. I heard you perform it many times since including nearly 20 years later at The Showboat Becky Thatcher. It was great!

I just caught a couple of Youtube videos of you playing the piano and being interviewed. You are definitely the Class of 75’s claim to fame and I am so impressed with what you have accomplished in your life. Hopefully you and Doc will be close to Beverly during our next class reunion (I can’t believe another one is coming up next year). It would be great to see you again,,,you are always fun to talk to. WOW! Today is the first time I ever heard you two and never was aware of you before. You are an amazing and talented couple and such beautiful music. I could play your music for all the neighborhood to hear and all night long. How fortunate to live during the same time as you folks. I looked at your past schedule but notice you haven’t been lately west of the Mississippi. I guess I will have to plan a trip east and south. I hope you can play forever. coming to you from just a little East and South of 12th Street and Vine. We are no longer homeless. closed the deal today. Just went to WEDU.org and watched the Arts Plus thing. Nice segment. Now that we have a place to live we are going to take tomorrow off and Go to BB’s Lawnside for the Mama Ray’s blues jam. Oh, and we will also be eating BBQ. Hope you had a good one at Jaxson’s tonight. Miss you guys already.

I flew up from the Caymans to see you at the Boogie Woogie Stomp concert in February. What a tremendous show! I had my mentally handicapped brother with me (had him flown down from Nebraska), because he lives for the piano. It was the most excited I have ever seen him — ever.
It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Thanks so much for spearheading the whole thing.

Too cold to catch you at Ricky P’s Sat. nite. Will be in Sarasota March 7 for John Lamb award. I will be at the Patsy Cline thing on the 9th, but Helen plans on seeing you at the Peninsula Inn on the 9th. The Boogie Woogie Stomp was great. But the preshow at Donk’s was even greater. Your invitation to play was so gracious and right on time! Threw a party at my house today and had a blast beltin out the tunes for my friends. Getting back to gigging again has been long overdue, but your kind gesture inspired me! You two are AWESOME!
